Job Summary
Issue uniforms and linen according to
procedures laid down by the department. Control the movement of soiled and clean
linen and uniforms to and from the department.
Support the mission and
vision of the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC) and that of
the Laundry Department.
Essential Functions / Task Groups
Functional/Administrative Duties:
- Mark all newly received linen and uniforms and place in proper storage.
- Coordinate with linen exchanged, discarded, and mended.
- Maintain an effective control system to issue clean linen and uniforms.
- Record all outgoing and incoming from the laundry before storing and
issuing.
- Take size measurements for uniforms, gowns, medical equipment covers, etc.
- Fabricate a sample of all new items when needed.
- Transfer the discarded items into reusable items.
- Perform other tasks as requested.

Minimum Education: Elementary Education
