The Medical Center Human Resources has an opening for the position of Senior Talent Management Specialist above grade 12. Basic Functions
Responsible for coordinating, handling and implementing Human Resources Talent Management activities at the Human Resources Department related to Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Performance Management, Job Analysis and Workforce Planning as well as other department initiatives. Support the mission and vision of the American University of Beirut Medical Center and that of the Department.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field. Master's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field is preferred
  • Competency Based Interview (CBI) Certification or Train the Trainer (TTT) Certification are a major plus
  • 7 years of specialized Human Resources experience in one or more of the following: recruitment, training and development, performance management and job descriptions
  • Strong command of Arabic and English (EEE>/=500)
  • Good familiarity with commonly used word processing, spreadsheet, PowerPoint, and database software packages. Familiarity with Talent Acquisition and Management solutions

Job Summary

Support the mission and vision of the American University of Beirut Medical Center and that of the Department.
Essential Functions / Task Groups

HR Related Duties:

Manage the overall recruitment and selection process of clinical and non-clinical positions at the Medical Center.
Prepare and conduct competency based interviews as well as identify and implement screening assessments, where appropriate.
Analyze learning needs to develop new development programs or modify and improve existing programs.
Prepare, coordinate and deliver courses in own area of expertise using a defined schedule, adhering to the training calendar and in line with the institution's guidelines.
Manage new job descriptions requests or updating of current ones in line with the Department Head and ensure proper alignment with similar positions in the Medical Center.
Drive the yearly performance management cycle and ensure timely fulfillment as well as initiate development plans based on the performance appraisal analysis.
Manage the onboarding program of new recruits, analyze surveys and set action plans accordingly as well as ensure all elements of the process are met.
Conduct workload analyses on requested positions and/or departments and submit appropriate recommendations.
Handle projects as assigned by the Talent Development and Acquisition Manager and Human Resources Director and ensure proper follow up for timely implementation.

Education:
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
Preferred Education: Master's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field.

Certifications:

Experience:
Minimum Experience: 7 years of specialized Human Resources experience in one or more of the following: recruitment, training and development, performance management and job descriptions.

Languages:

Good familiarity with commonly used word processing, spreadsheet, PowerPoint, and database software packages.
Familiarity with Talent Acquisition and Management solutions.
