Job Summary
Manage and handle all Talent Management activities at the Human Resources
(HR) Department related to Workforce Planning, Recruitment, Learning and
Development and Performance Management as well as participate in preparation,
development and implementation of assigned HR projects.
Support the mission
and vision of the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC) and that
of the Human Resources Department.
Essential Functions / Task Groups
Talent Management Duties:
Develop strategies for attracting qualified applicants utilizing effective
recruitment, interviewing, advertisement, screening, selection, references,
background verification, and job offer techniques.
Develop and implement
strategies to ensure the effective recruitment, placement, and transfer of
qualified employees by establishing and maintaining positive working
relationships with recruiting sources such as educational institutions,
employment agencies, community organizations as well as facilitating internal
promotion through the chain.
Develop and implement strategies to identify new
marketing and attraction tools to reach out for more potential candidates that
might be interested in applying to AUBMC.
Develop a training strategy for
AUBMC and manage the delivery of training and development programs in an
effective manner.
Design and develop training and development programs based
on both the organization and the individual needs, addressing current
capabilities and future training needs as well as evaluate the training and
development programs.
Oversee the process of conducting a full promotion
review for all employees ensuring that any gaps identified are further developed
as well as ensuring employees meet the minimum requirements in terms of
education, experience and English language in order to activate the competence
assessments and ensure completion prior to set deadline.
Oversee the analysis
of all annual Performance Appraisals and devise individual development plans for
all employees and follow-up on progress.
Prepare and update competency-based
job descriptions and evaluations using the Hay methodology.
Assist in the
identification and tracking of key metrics to determine overall effectiveness of
talent management initiatives and support HR strategic business goals.
Manage
the Talent Management section in day-to-day basis by coaching, developing,
training and appraising employees.
Participate in department projects
including but not limited to surveys, newsletters, social media,
etc...

Knowledge:

Education:
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in
Business Administration or related field. HR certification is a
plus.
Preferred Education: Master's Degree in Human Resources Management or
related field.
Experience:
Minimum Experience: 10-12 years of experience
in specialized Human Resources experience in Talent Management with at least 3
years of which are in a managerial role.
Languages:
Minimum Languages: Arabic and English (EEE
>/= 500).French is a plus/assest.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
applications as well as other software as required for the job. Familiarity with
Talent Acquisition and Management solutions.
